Earlier this week, Bulky Waste Vouchers were mailed to every household in Woodland (not including apartments). These vouchers allow residents to dispose of one load of waste at the Yolo County Landfill for free until December 31, 2024.
Vouchers are good for the disposal of one free load of bulky items (up to 5 cubic yards) taken to the Yolo County Landfill and are limited to one voucher per Woodland household. Assisted service for bulky waste may be available for elderly or disabled resident subscribers of WM’s assisted service. While not accepted at the Bulky Waste Events, Household Hazardous Waste (HHW), such as paints and pesticides, are accepted for free disposal year-round at the landfill on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. The Big Blue Recycling Barn also accepts daily donations of furniture, bikes, housewares, and other gently used items.
