Come to REXPO and the Senior Art Show

Join the City of Woodland Community Services Department for the summer recreation program exposition “ReXpo” and Senior Art Show on Friday, March 15, from 4:00–7:00 pm at the Woodland Community & Senior Center. Learn about the summer programs offered by the City and recreation partners.  Those registering for classes will receive a 10% discount and a chance to win one of many prizes. 

Discover the recreational activities in Woodland including activities such as Summertime Fun Club, swim lessons, Summer Teen Pack, tennis lessons, boxing, fitness classes, special events, seasonal job openings, and volunteer opportunities will all be on display. A 10% discount will be provided when signing up for a Community Services program or activity during the event (online registration will not be accepted during the event). 

Learn about campership available for many summer programs such as Summertime Fun Club, Summer Teen Pack, Swim Lessons (sponsored by Kiwanis Club of Woodland), and the Woodland Wreckers swim team.

The Senior Art Show includes artwork by local artisans including Seniors who participate in classes held at the Senior Center. Artwork includes paintings, drawings, ceramics, needlework, quilting, and wood carvings. Some artwork may be for sale. As part of the artisan ambiance, there will be beer and wine tasting supplied by Simas Family Vineyards and Blue Note Brewery. Additional donations for the event have also been provided by Senior Center Inc.
