The City Council of the City of Woodland, at its regularly scheduled meeting, will hold a public hearing for the purpose of accepting comments, discussing, and taking final action concerning proposed amendments to the City of Woodland Municipal Code concerning commercial cannabis retail uses. The meeting will be held Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at 6:00 pm via Zoom as a webinar. The City Council will conduct a public hearing to consider amending Chapter 17.110 of the Municipal Code, the Land Use Table, Exhibit B of the Interim Zoning Ordinance, and Table 8.1 of the Downtown Specific Plan, as well as amending Chapter 5.28 of the Municipal Code relating to Cannabis Business Permits, and updating Regulatory Permit Fees for commercial cannabis businesses.
The City’s existing ordinance allows for consideration of up to six (6) conditional use permits for commercial cannabis manufacturing, distribution, and testing in industrial locations. The proposed amendments consider the granting of up to four (4) conditional use permits for commercial cannabis retail uses in commercial locations.
