Thursdays, 10-12 in the Leake Room. Geared towards children ages 0-5 and their caregivers. Runs Feb 1- March 21. Includes storytime, snacks, and monthly guest speakers discussing topics surrounding childcare.
Tween Library Club (TLC)

Girls Who Code II

Sign up for Girls Who Code 2 starting on Feb 26-April 29! Join us Mondays from 3:30-4:30 in the Leake Room for a more in-depth session where girls will be learning an introductory course to Python using VS Code taught by two Robotics Team Students from Pioneer High School. In n Out Cover to Cover Challenge!
Join us from March 2 through April 13 for the In-N-Out Cover to Cover Challenge! Kids ages 4-12 read 5 books of their level and earn a free hamburger certificate from In-N-Out. Each child may earn up to three certificates during the duration of the challenge. Register at wpl.beanstack.org or at the library once the program begins!
Creek Explorers
Runs April 4-May 9
Thursdays from 3:30-4:30 in the Leake Room
Be inspired by the bountiful, biodiverse beauty of Putah Creek! Learn about the connections between the flowing water, flora, & fauna of the watershed while creating nature-inspired works of art & craft.
During this series, we will create clay & stone bowls inspired by salmon redds, weave willows just like beavers, paint watercolor maps of the creek, and much more!
No registration necessary.
Día de Los Niños

This community event celebrates kids, diversity, and reading and the library will be there. Come enjoy a craft kit and book giveaway: every child gets a free, new book to take home! Friday, April 26 from 3-6 at Ferns Park. There will be food, entertainment, and resources for the whole family.
Read, Rumble, and Rev

We are excited to be hosting our annual Read, Rumble, and Rev event this month. Saturday, April 27th in our parking lot from 11-1, with the first hour quiet and horn free!
