Cartons Accepted in Recycling

As of last month, you can now recycle cartons like broth, milk, soup, and other liquid containers in your curbside recycling bin. You should have received a helpful postcard with more details on this new addition to our recycling program.

Holiday Tree Pick-ups and Leaf Drop Season Ending

Natural holiday trees can be picked up with green waste piles through January 31! Before placing your tree on the street, ensure it is free of lights, ornaments, tinsel, stands, flocking, or other decorations. Weekly pick-ups for the Leaf Drop Season will end on January 3. Use the Collection Calendar to check your monthly pick-up schedule by address.

Sustainability Advisory Committee News

The Sustainability Advisory Committee's (SAC) next regular meeting is on January 15 at 6 pm. The SAC meetings are open to the public and meet at the Woodland Community & Senior Center. To view upcoming meetings, agendas, and past meeting minutes, click here.

Holiday City Closure: No Change to WM Service Schedule

 City offices will be closed on Monday, January 21, 2025, in observance of MLK Day. WM services will not be affected by the holiday.
