Downtown Woodland's AgStart invites local agrifoodtech entrepreneurs to apply to the new, no-cost AgriFoodTech Entrepreneur Resource ("AFTER") program to help grow their businesses. The AFTER program provides free technical and business mentoring to selected entrepreneurs, leveraging AgStart's extensive network of advisors. Selected entrepreneurs will receive at least two hours of mentorship with an expert. AgStart staff will work directly with selected applicants to match them with the most appropriate subject matter experts.
Who Can Apply?
AFTER is open to all agrifoodtech entrepreneurs in the Greater Sacramento region and the northern San Joaquin Valley. The program footprint includes Glenn, Butte, Nevada, Yuba, Colusa, Placer, Sutter, Yolo, El Dorado, Sacramento, Amador, Solano, San Joaquin, Stanislaus, and Merced counties. AgStart encourages applications from early to mid-stage companies aiming to accelerate their innovation and commercialization efforts.
How to Apply
Applicants must fill out an application questionnaire to help staff better understand each entrepreneur's needs. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until September 2025.
