Beatriz Abarca | Square One Maker Camp Leader, Library
- Completed outreach, created lesson plans, facilitated day-to-day activities, and served as a bilingual resource for the Square One Maker Camp.

Lydia Rice | Strategic Policy Analyst, Public Works
- Created Standard Operating Procedures to guide purchasing activities and launched the development of a Green Fleet Policy.
Yash Tyagi | Information Technology Analyst, Administrative Services Department - IT Division
- Completed a Wi-Fi survey, inventory management, enterprise level IT Networking, and a Wi-Fi heat map to address weak points in the City's network.
Sophia Depew | Public Education Specialist, Community Development Department - Planning Division
- Created a step-by-step guide for developing Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) in Woodland to meet new state regulations and help the public navigate ADU development.

Shersten Rosenfeld | Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Analyst, Community Services Department
- Created a diversity, equity, and inclusion survey to analyze the department's inclusivity, climate, and accessibility for program participants, families, and staff, and updated the housing resources and webpage.

Brandon Rueda | Public Education & Grants Specialist, Fire Department
- Created a Hazard Mitigation Plan to better mitigate potential disasters and a Public Education Toolkit to improve public communications and minimize casualties.
Arielle Bardwil | Communications & Sustainability Analyst, City Manager's Office
- Supported communications efforts including creating webpages for the Equity Action Plan and Civic Fellowship Program, created Small Business Guides and translated them into Spanish, updated the housing webpage, and prepared social media posts.

Brandon Williams | Communications & Outreach Specialist, Police Department
- Supported planning efforts for National Night Out and helped with vehicle abatement to remove violating and/or abandoned vehicles from neighborhoods.
Program Activities
YoloWorks! Professional Development Workshops
Fellows attended workshops run by YoloWorks! staff at the YoloWorks! Career Center. Workshop topics included resume review, interview practice, career roadmaps, etc.
Elected Officials Panel
Fellows had the opportunity to have meaningful interactions with elected City Council members and Yolo County Supervisor Board members. They had the opportunity to ask questions regarding background, career journey, their experience as an elected official, and more.
Department Heads Panel
Fellows engaged in substantive conversation with Department Heads. They had the opportunity to ask questions regarding background, career journey, their experience as a public servant, and more.
Nonprofit Field Trip
Fellows took tours of local nonprofits that serve the Woodland community including the Woodland Food Closet, The East Beamer Neighborhood Campus/Fourth & Hope, AgStart, and Advance Peace.
Square One Library Visit
Fellows learned about the Woodland Public Library's unique history and explored the many resources available including books, adventure packs, and the Square One Makerspace, which features laser cutters, 3D printers, a woodshop, electronics, and more.
Water Pollution Control Facility Visit
Fellows had a tour of the Woodland Water Pollution Control Facility. They learned about the water treatment process within the city and the Pollution Prevention Program.
