Teens gain great experience volunteering for Seniors

This is a new version of Teens Helping Seniors. Teens can join Teens Helping Seniors this fall to help seniors on weekends.

Teens Helping Seniors is a volunteer program for teens ages 13 to 17 to earn community service credits for school while supporting older adults in the Woodland community. Program staff chaperone the teen volunteers to senior residences to assist with tasks such as raking leaves, pulling weeds, sweeping, washing windows, and more. During the Fall, all volunteer shifts take place on Saturdays. At the end of each session, students receive a certificate verifying their completed community service hours.
