Rebate funding is available first-come, first-served, while supplies last
The City of Woodland offers rebates during the current fiscal year to Woodland residents, businesses, or schools within city limits that purchase a backyard composter or vermicompost bin.
- Limit $100 per eligible item, up to 2 items (or $200), per household every 2 years. You can purchase up to two of the same type or one of each.
- Plus up to $50 for compost worms (e.g., red wriggles) for vermicompost bins.
Limit $250 in compost-type rebates per household every 2 years.
*Please note, as of July 1, 2025, electric composters are no longer an eligible purchase
Applications and Related Documents
Bins/composters must be installed and worms must be added to a vermicompost bin before applying.
