At a meeting of the City Council of the City of Woodland to be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at 6:00 PM in the City Council Chambers, 300 First Street, City Hall, Woodland, CA, the Ordinance as described below will be considered for adoption:
On May 20, 2025 the City Council voted to introduce an Ordinance that would repeal Chapter 2.04, Article 1, Sections 2.04.010 through 2.04.200 of the Woodland Municipal Code.
The proposed ordinance effectively removes outdated procedural language from the municipal code. Instead, City Council policies and procedures will be established within a newly created City Council Handbook.
The above summary constitutes the major highlights of the proposed Ordinance. A copy of the full text of the Ordinance is available at the City Clerk's office located at 300 First Street, Woodland, California 95695. Persons interested may appear before the City Council at the above date, place and time. If the City Council approves this Ordinance, the Ordinance will become effective thirty days after its passage.
