NOTICE INVITING BIDS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by the City of Woodland herein referred to as “City,” at the office of the City Clerk, located on the 2nd Floor at City Hall, 300 First Street, Woodland, CA 95695, until 2:00 o’clock, p.m., on February 20, 2025, for furnishing all labor, material, tax, transportation, equipment, and services necessary for the:
2025 Water & Sewer Repair & Replacement Project, CIP 24-02
Bids will be opened and tabulated by or on behalf of the City Clerk immediately after 2:00 o’clock, p.m., on February 20, 2025. Any bids received after the time specified shall be returned unopened.
This project shall be conducted in accordance with the plans, specifications and other contract documents, all of which may be examined online at https://www.publicpurchase.com/gems/woodland,ca/buyer/public/home or in person at the Community Development Department, Engineering Division located at 300 First Street, Woodland, CA 95695, Phone: (530) 661-5820. The work site is predominantly in the public right-of-way; bidders are invited to inspect the project site at their leisure. Site inspections may also be arranged through the Engineer, Mark Miller, (530) 661-5968, mark.miller@cityofwoodland.gov. The project generally consists of the following:
Installation of approximately 6,750 feet of water distribution main, 112 water service laterals and 10 fire hydrants; Installation of approximately 3,650 feet of sewer main, 8 manholes, 9 sewer service cleanouts and 82 sewer service laterals; Repaving of all trenches and street section replacement on Dingle Lane; and Abandonment of the existing water and sewer systems.
The City’s estimated cost of the base bid improvements is $5.8 to $6.8 million.
