CITY OF WOODLAND
ORDINANCE NOS. 1729, 1730, 1731 AND 1732
SUMMARY OF PROPOSED ORDINANCES ADOPTING CHAPTER 5.40, REPEALING CHAPTER 10.20 AND ADOPTING CHAPTER 5.44, REPEALING AND REPLACING SECTION 17.84.250, AND ADOPTING CHAPTER 8.32 OF THE WOODLAND MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO MOBILE VENDORS
At a meeting of the City Council of the City of Woodland held on January 21, 2025, the Ordinances as described below were considered for adoption.
At a noticed public hearing on December 17, 2024, the City Council voted to introduce (1) an Ordinance adopting Chapter 5.40 “Sidewalk Vendors” into the Woodland Municipal Code; (2) an Ordinance repealing Chapter 10.20 of the Woodland Municipal Code and adopting Chapter 5.44 “Mobile Vendors”; (3) an Ordinance repealing and replacing Section 17.84.250 “Mobile Vendors” of the Woodland Municipal Code, Title 17 Zoning Ordinance with Section 17.84.250 “Mobile Vending and Food Preparation”; and (4) an Ordinance adopting Chapter 8.32 into the Woodland Municipal Code. These updates are consistent with the 2035 General Plan and will bring the Municipal Code into compliance with state law and create consistency with Yolo County Environmental Health permitting.

Ordinance Nos. 1729, 1730, 1731 and 1732 were introduced at a meeting of the Woodland City Council on December 17, 2024, and adopted on January 21, 2025, by the following vote:
