
NOTICE OF FUNDING AVAILABILITY (NOFA)
FOR THE CITY OF WOODLAND
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM
Notice is given herewith that the City of Woodland’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program has an estimated $440,000 in funds available for Fiscal Year 2025/26.
The purpose of the Federal CDBG Program is to undertake eligible activities that will carry out the primary objectives of Title 1 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended. These objectives are designed to provide decent housing, a suitable living environment, and to expand economic opportunities primarily for persons of low and moderate income. Low and moderate income is defined as persons making 80% or less of the area median income in Woodland. As per HUD directives, priority is given to applicants providing services to Americans serving our Country and applicants who have demonstrated the ability to complete projects in a timely basis.
Applications will be available starting on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 on the City’s CDBG webpage (https://www.cityofwoodland.org/597/Community-Development-Block-Grant), at the Community Development Department counter (City Hall, 300 First Street, Woodland, CA 95695). Interested parties are invited to attend a virtual applicant workshop/public meeting via Microsoft Teams on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at 1:30 p.m. (PST) to discuss the FY 2025/26 CDBG application process and to receive citizen input on the CDBG Program. Applications can be submitted in-person at the Community Development Department counter at City Hall or by email to Franklin.Cui@cityofwoodland.gov. The deadline to submit an application for CDBG funding is Wednesday, March 12, 2025 by 5:00 p.m. (PST).
